Roxy gets 40 minutes worth of experience

Roxy had a long tandem flight this morning before the winds picked up and got too strong. That is great experience for her.

Sunday, Mark is heading home

Mark Stump was near Nashville, Tennessee when this phone call was made. There was no flying Saturday due to high wind. He says he is actually getting a little home sick.

Friday in Florida

Mark Stump Says that he and the gang may head back to Arkansas if conditions do not look good in the morning. They all had good flights today. The goal was to Dean Stills Road and back.

Thursday Florida Sunshine

A good day for the Florida Pilots. Three pilots made it to Wallaby Ranch and all had good flights. Today was the last day for some of the pilots.

Roxy Flies off the Mountain!

Roxy does it! She had her big mountain flight on Sunday but I didn't find out about it until today due to not wanting to call her late at night. Congratulations Roxy! I look forward to flying with you here in Arkansas.

Day 9 in Florida

Mark Stump passed me off to other Arkansas hangglider pilots once again and never told me how his flight went today. Walter Jordan and Jim Steele both had good flights. I think Donna did too but she didn't want to talk about it (Bashful, I guess). This is the longest recording yet at 1.2 MB. Sorry, but I don't have the time to edit it and am not smart enough to ask the right questions. I liked listening to it though.

Roxy, Day 4 in Georgia

Roxy got two more flights at the large training hill before the wind got too bad. She and John moved camp later to get away from the creek where the tent had been. She says it is supposed to storm tonight.

Day 6 in Florida

Mark Stump didn't fly today due to the weather. He says that he could have gotten in an early flight if he had known what the day would bring but was too late. I caught him having dinner with about 15 of the other pilots on hand.

Roxy, Day 3 in Georgia

Roxy gets two more flights under her belt and says that she will stay at Lookout until she has had some flights off the mountain. That is a great attitude!

Day 5, Local Florida Flying

James Linscome flew for over an hour but landed after conditions seemed to be on the verge of overdevelopment. Mark had a good flight too.

Roxy flies off the big training hill

Roxy is having a good time at Lookout Mountain, Georgia and is now flying off the big training hill. Until now she has been flying straight but tomorrow, she will begin turns. Good Luck Roxy!

Mark goes XC with Canadian Pilot

Mark Stump went for a 20 mile XC flight with a Canadian pilot named Phil. Phil actually did most of the talking for this blog since this was his first XC flight. Sorry but the conversation is a little longer than normal and is 1.4 MB.
